Please help me understand listing of read articles

Hi, new user, previously using feedreader on windows.

I’m having trouble in that I’m sometimes “losing” read articles from the feed list. I like to have read articles stay in the list as greyed out. Sometimes it works that way, other times the article disappears from the list. If I mark the whole feed as read, all the articles re-appear as greyed out. If I then mark one of those articles unread, all the read articles disappear.

Here’s a small feed that demonstrates the problem.

Change from “Adaptive” to “All Articles” in the Show Articles preferences on the top right…

It has nothing to do with the feeds themselves, just how you are displaying them.
