Daemon Performance

Just a quick more general question about TT-RSS’s feed daemon updater.

I’m running the latest version on an Ubuntu 14.04 box, is there on likely to be any performance difference in how I run the update daemon script? E.g. between a start-stop-daemon approach and a simple systemd service as per wiki?

no, why would it matter? run it however you like it.

Cheers, I thought so, though a “smart” friend of mine seemed to indicate it would… closed case

Quotes definitely warranted, time to get smarter friends.
