Beginner, RSS feed not showing anything

Hello.

I have managed to install tt-rss on my laptop, but I can’t get the feeds working. No matter what feed I add it claims that it hasn’t been updated since 1. january 1970. I have no idea what I’m supposed to do now.

Can you help me?

I’m not sure how to do that. I use a webhosting service called .one and can’t figure out how to do daemon.

OK!

What happened to your laptop?

Then this forum is not the place to ask. Please contact your webhosting service.

I’m sorry if I misinformed.

I have installed tt-rss on .one and now everytime I add a feed it says that there hasn’t been anything since janaury 1. 1970. How do I run the daemon-thing so that it does update correctly and show eveyrthing?

Thank you everyone.

Without me having done anything, it suddenly updates.

I have now discovered that one(dot)com doesn’t run cron job, but they pointed me in the direction of a phpJobScheduler is that something anyone in here can help me with? And would that let the feeds update without me having the browser open?

SMH.
